On June 26, 2011, we will be hosting an end of year soccer celebration for the U8 soccer clubs of Heritage Point and Blackmud Creek Community Leagues. We have purchased medals for every player and hope that everyone shows up for a few hours (beginning at noon) for a free cookout, games, face painting, and medal ceremony.
We are also looking forward to Community League Day in September/October of this year. We will have an entry for the Community wide Chili Cookoff, and look forward to interacting with our neighbors.
In November/December, we will be working with other Rio Terrace Moravian Church to bring Illuminight to our community. We will be creating luminaries to be sold (10 bags, 10 candles, and enough sand for all 10 bags) for $10. All proceeds will go to a local charity/school, TBD.
