We traditionally have two services this holy day. The first begins just prior to sunrise, so the service will begin at 6:15 AM and then move out into the graveyard to watch the sun come up over the hill. It is a truly beautiful service to celebrate the resurrection of Christ from the bonds of death, to know with God, nothing is impossible.
After the service, we head back for coffee and a full pot luck breakfast. And we usually have a few extra trays of Moravian Sugar Cake to enjoy.
Those who live locally sometimes head home for the hour or so between breakfast and our 10 AM service... but usually a handful of people stay and chat until we worship again.
Moravian's are Easter people. We celebrate that the love of God conquers all things... that Love Wins. Come and celebrate with us.
